The House of Scotland Cottage in Balboa Park opens at 11am and the formal program runs from 1-3:30 pm on the HPR courtyard stage by the international cottages (see map).

The House of Scotland and its pipe band are part of the House of Pacific Relations International Cottages. From February through December, cottages conduct their Lawn Shows, which are free to the public and feature music, dance, traditional cultural dress, arts, crafts and ethnic foods. The House of Scotland program will feature pipe bands (HSPB and Helix Highlanders), highland and country dancing, traditional hot food and desserts for sale.

There are many events in the park on the 30th. The Spreckels Organ concert is having a Halloween event with Symphonic Strings at 2pm. The HPR is hosting a Trick or Treat trail through the cottages from 11-4. Bring the family and enjoy a Sunday afternoon at one San Diego's most beatiful treasures. Extra credeit will be given to students not participating in the event who come out and supprt.
