We will have a season kick off student and parent meeting Tuesday November 9th. All students who wish to participate in a winter activity must attend with their parents.

Winterdrumline audtions date are as follows:

November 13th Audition Workshop 3:30 - 6:00pm
November 17th – Battery Auditions – 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM
November 18th – Pit Auditions – 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM
November 20th – Battery & Pit Auditions – 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM

WINTER Guard AUDTIONS will take place the week of the December 1

About HELIX INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC

The Helix Instrumental Music Association is one of largest and most successful school music programs in east county San Diego. The Music Program at Helix currently consists of approximately 180 students in eight main groups: Drumline, Bagpipes, Color Guard, Orchestra, Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Jazz Band and Wind Symphony. All three bands, as well as the color guard and bagpipes, combine to form the Helix Highlander Band.

Our foundation, the Helix Instrumental Music Association (HIMA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization Tax Id# 23-7255896 formed to support the Instrumental Music program at Helix Charter High School.
